What qualifications do I need to work with Team Healthcare?
To qualify to work with Team Healthcare, you must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school program and licensed to practice as a registered nurse. You must be currently working in an acute-care hospital environment with at least two year’s post-graduate hospital experience. English fluency is required, as well as references from past work experience. Finally, we look for documentation readiness as per a checklist of additional requirements.

Yes, we offer specialized coaching and training programs to candidates in various specialties.

How long is the training process?
Training takes 4-12 months and tests your clinical and English language skills.

How soon can I start working in America?
Once the immigration process is initiated, it takes approximately 12 to 24 months to begin your assignment in America. Due to recent backlogs in the immigration process (also known as "Retrogession") further delays are anticipated.

What about my family?
If you are married, your spouse and any unmarried children under the age of 21 can legally relocate to the United States on a Permanent Residency Visa with you, usually after a 3-month period.

What type of visas or licenses do I need to work in America?
A Permanent Residency visa (also known as a Green Card) and a U.S. RN license are required to work in the US.

What is involved in obtaining my Permanent Residency visa and my RN license?
Team Healthcare takes care of all the immigration filing for your Visa and trains you to pass the NCLEX-RN exam so you can obtain your RN license.

What kind of questions will the NCLEX-RN exam include?
The exam lasts about five hours and is multiple-choice. Results are given within 72 hours. The exam covers knowledge, skills and abilities to effectively practice nursing in: Medicine, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Psychiatry and Surgery.

Where is the NCLEX-RN exam taken?
The NCLEX-RN exam is taken in India and several other testing countries. Your testing will be scheduled based on your location.

What is a VisaScreen?
A VisaScreen ensures you have the necessary qualifications to work in the US. The screening checks your education, licensing and English language ability.

Where will I live once I arrive in the US?
We will counsel you on your living arrangements prior to coming to the US. Upon arrival at the airport, Team Healthcare will take you to your temporary housing, available for a predetermined amount of time. Most temporary housing is within walking distance from the healthcare facility at which you’ll be working.
